Spoiled Soil
But roots were planted
And Time invested
Spoiled Soil
But Flowers grew
and quite A few
Spoiled Soil
my Friends all mocked
they laughed a lot
Spoiled Soil
But I knew better
I felt the weather
Spoiled Soil
would be beat down
Falling rain making Sound
Spoiled Soil
in the heat
knew just what it had to beat
Spoiled soil
is no more
not so spoiled as before
Spoiled Soil
Changed its make
growing flowers for petesake
Spoiled soil
Now laughs back
getting itself right on track
Spoiled soil
Knows of its past
Been working out the kinks at last
Spoiled Soil
Cleaned up its act
Though its past is still a fact
Spoiled soil
Moves on this path
maybe next year grow some grass
Spoiled Soil
healing Cracks

From the Song Bird
From the Song Bird
Mellow Song Bird
Pirched upon the Willow
Waiting for the Sun to Burst
A certain kind of Yellow
The Sky must be Ready
For her Singing Voice to Sound
Hoping all the Woodland Creatures
Would Hear and Gather round
Patiently Shes waiting
Underneath the Willows Brow
For her time to Spring up high
And Sing her Song so Loud
Mellow Song Bird
Pirched Upon the Willow
Looked to the Sun and Soon Begun
The deepest song so Bellow
She longed for the open sky
Her wings to spread out wide
She longed to Feel the Warmth of Sun
To see the Woodland creatures thronged
Mellow Song bird
Not pirched, But caged
Her Sun not real, Just Light
singing for her fellows
Seeking Freedom for her flight
FREEDDOM,FREEDOM,FREEDOM
